Artistically Inked bundle with the 2021-2023 In Colors

 I love the watercolour look of this stamp set.

I stamped a full sheet of A4 Basic White cardstock and then cut it up to make 4 cards. I didn't like one of the quadrants so I have ended up with 3 cards, and maybe 2 tags - still undecided on what to do with the left over piece. 

 

 

After selecting the three card fronts, I stamped the flowers and some of the leaves onto another piece of white cardstock and die cut them. I got my tweezers and twisted the small leaves to slot in behind the flowers and manipulated the flowers and centres to give them dimension and shape.

I die cut the long detailed leaves out of gold foil and Soft Succulent cardstock. 

The colours I used are the 2021-2023 In Colors. The first card is mounted onto Polished Pink, the second onto Soft Succulent and the third is on Evening Evergreen.

Hand-Penned Suite with 2021-2023 In Colors

 

The new Annual Catalogue launches today 4 May 2021. Exciting I know! 

These cards are made from one of our brand new suites. 

This stamp set is called Hand-Penned Petals and the coordinating dies are the Penned Flowers dies.

The background cardstock is one of the new In Colors called Soft Succulent. It's a  really lovely green which I can see will go with many other colours in the Stampin' Up! palette - my photo doesn't do it justice. 

The stamp set is a two-step process. First I stamped the floral image outlines in Memento Tuxedo Black and then filled in using all bar one of the new In Colors. Note, I did this twice for the die-cutting. One of the coordinating dies is an outline die which cut out the largest piece on the card front. I used the other die on the second stamped image to get the filigree effect behind the main image - love it! I cut a layer of the Soft Succulent cardstock using the scalloped, stitched edging which looks so pretty.

Then I cut a strip and stamped the sentiment, and turned it into a banner which is scored and stands above the floral piece...just for something a bit different. Lastly, I added some of the new super sparkly 2021-2023 In Color Jewels to finish.

Then I decided I needed to play some more - who can blame me - it's such a pretty set. 

This card uses some of the designer series paper from the suite with a piece of Mint Macaron peeking out behind, layered onto the new Fresh Freesia cardstock. The sentiment is from the Pansy Patch stamp set (another new one) stamped using Fresh Freesia ink on Fresh Freesia cardstock. It was cut out using the Label Me Fancy punch. I stamped a daisy from Daisy Lane onto Fresh Freesia, and used the medium daisy punch to cut it out. The centre is the same daisy stamped with Bumblebee onto white cardstock, just cut out and attached. 

The bow is made from Pool Party 1cm sheer ribbon. 

This suite will no doubt be used for many more cards as I sit down and play some more.
