Quiet Meadow and acetate card boxes by Stampin' Up!®

Today I made a set of mini cards to go inside the acetate box that I posted about yesterday. I started with a piece of Basic White cut at 6 x 9" which I scored on the long edge at 3" and 6" so I could work out where to stamp.
I used Smoky Slate, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Misty Moonlight and Polished Pink inks, and the Quiet Meadow and Lovely You stamp sets to create these cute little cards.
These mini cards could be used for a thank you card or just to let someone know you're thinking of them. And packaged up in the acetate card box, it would make a lovely gift. I comfortably fitted five cards, with envelopes, into the box.

Thank you for stopping by to look at my blog today - I hope you like these mini cards as much as I do.

Acetate card box with Quiet Meadow bundle by Stampin' Up!®

Today's project features the acetate card boxes for 3x3" cards or small treats, together with the Quiet Meadow bundle. These boxes are super easy to put together - have you tried them yet? You can buy 3x3" envelopes from Stampin' Up!, make some mini cards and include them in these great little boxes.

To decorate this box, I used the Quiet Meadow stamp set and Meadow dies. For added dimension, I cut a second flower top attached to a piece of foam adhesive sheet.

This box has a belly band made of Basic White, to which I attached a piece of vellum which I coloured using the Stampin' blends and alcohol technique. I stamped the beautiful text stamp onto a piece of basic white and tore around the edges. A simple tag, baker's twine and a few rhinestone basic jewels completed the look. I coloured the white baker's twine with the Dark Misty Moonlight stampin' blend.

The belly band was cut 9" x 3" scored on the long edge at 1 7/8, 2 3/4, 5 7/8 and 6 3/4". I used inch measurements for this project as the boxes are 3 1/8" square (or 7.9cm).

Pop over to my online shop to purchase the acetate boxes and get busy making some gifts for family and friends - they're great fun.

Thanks for looking at my blog today - hope you like it.

Nature's Harvest stamp set by Stampin' Up!®

Hello and welcome back to my blog.

Today's project features the Nature's Harvest bundle. I stamped a full sheet of A4 Basic White paper and cut it up to create 8 individual cards. Below are just three examples of what I did with them. I was inspired by Ruth Trice of Artful Stampin' for these cards.

The Nature's Harvest bundle is carrying over, so we can continue to play with it which is a good thing because I think it is a beautiful set.

I have to apologise for the inconsistencies in my photographs - I hope to get this sorted very soon.

Thank you for stopping by to look at my blog today - I hope you like this project.

Color & Contour bundle by Stampin' Up!®

Today's project features the Color & Contour stamp set and Scalloped Contours dies, also known as the Color & Contour Bundle.

Step up your creativity and crafting prowess with this versatile bundle that lets you take technique to the next level.  Simple, elegant, easy and a great deal! Yes please - get 10% discount on all bundles at my online store

Color & Contour is a two-step stamp set meaning you stamp the outline and fill in with a different stamp. It's so simple, but a very effective technique. My card is a slim-line that measures 21 x 9.9cm. I stamped the images, ran the top layer through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder, then distressed the edges and brushed on some Soft Suede ink to give it an antique look.
Thank you for stopping by to look at my blog - I hope you like my card.

In the Moment stamp set by Stampin' Up!®

Today's project is a sneak peek featuring a new stamp set, In the Moment, which I received as a gift for attending the recent OnStage@home. The In the Moment stamp set will be available to purchase from 4 January 2022 from the upcoming January-June 2022 mini catalogue. It is perfect for water-colouring which is what I did for these two cards using the water painters.

This card was mounted on Basic Gray, with Pansy Petals designer series paper for the mat. The Brushed Brass butterflies are another goodie you can look forward to in the new catalogue.

This card is mounted on a Misty Moonlight card base, with the B side of Heart & Home designer series paper (another one you can look forward to in the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue). I used the Tailor Made Tags on both cards. The bows were tied using Baker's twine and on this card, some Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels were my choice of embellishment.

The sales period for the January–June 2022 Mini Catalogue and the Sale-A-Bration earning period begin on 4 January 2022. Sale-A-Bration runs until 28 February 2022. The mini catalogue runs until 30 June 2022.
