Flowering Tulips stamp set by Stampin' Up!®

Today I've made another card using the Flowering Tulips stamp set. And, I haven't used the designer series paper with the dies yet...I can feel another blog post coming on๐Ÿ˜„ Watch this space...

Again on this card, I stamped the background using the Oceanfront stamp set. The colours used are Highland Heather, Fresh Freesia and Pear Pizzazz. The outline tulip was stamped in full strength Gorgeous Grape, then the filler stamp is the same colour stamped off, then rotated slightly and stamped again. The leaves and foreground are stamped in Pear Pizzazz.

To this card I added Gorgeous Grape sheer ribbon and a layer of Gorgeous Grape cardstock before adhering to the Basic White cardbase. I did a partial stamping of the sentiment from the Flowering Tulips stamp set using Gorgeous Grape ink, then cut it out using the layering ovals dies. I coloured the basic Rhinestones with the Dark Highland Heather Stampin' blend.

Flowering Tulips stamp set by Stampin' Up!®

Hello and welcome to my blog! Today's project features the Flowering Tulips stamp set from the January-June 2022 Mini Catalogue. This set is part of the Flowering Fields suite (Pg 14 of the catalogue) and includes some gorgeous designer series paper, ribbon and some adorable brushed brass butterflies. Go on over to my online store and check out the full suite.

I stamped the background with the largest image from Oceanfront, top to bottom, using Balmy Blue, So Saffron and Soft Sea Foam.

I chose Daffodil Delight for my tulips, stamping the outline image in full strength, then second generation stamping for the filler image. The leaves are stamped in Pear Pizzazz.

The sentiment is from a Sale-a-bration set called Special Moments, stamped in Misty Moonlight ink. The card front was mounted on a Balmy Blue layer, then added to a Basic White card base.

Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing folder from Stampin' Up!®

Today's card is a very special wedding card for a very special person. It is made with the Bouquet of Love hybrid embossing folder and I think it suits the occasion perfectly.

The card base measures 14.5cm square and fits inside a 6x6" envelope. I ran the top white layer through the hybrid embossing folder which cut out the central heart. Then I put the gold foil through the folder and used adhesive foam sheet on the back of the heart to give it height. I tied the rings together with white twine, and adhered them behind the heart with tear tape. I added the white bow with a glue dot then added embellishments.

The sentiment, from Forever Blossoms stamp set, is heat embossed using a mixture of Gold, Silver and Copper embossing powders that I made up - it has a softer look than the usual Gold embossing.

Thanks for checking out my blog today - I am really happy with how this special card turned out.

Amazing Silhouettes stamp set by Stampin' Up!®

This weekend I played with the new Amazing Silhouettes stamp set from Stampin' Up!®. This stamp set is part of a bundle and comes with matching Amazing Thanks Dies. When I first saw the Amazing Silhouettes stamp set I wasn't quite sure what to do with it.

I got the inspiration for this card on Pinterest from Mary Deatherage of Stamps-n-lingers. I put my own spin on it and am happy with the simple but elegant finished card.

I stamped the largest image from the set with Crumb Cake on Basic White, which I then ran through the Tasteful Textile embossing folder. I stamped the word 'Celebrate' from Create with Friends stamp set using Early Espresso ink on basic white card which I fussy cut. The die-cut birds are from the Beautiful Trees die set and then I added Brushed Metallic Adhesive backed dots. I mounted the top layer onto Soft Suede cardstock and then onto a Crumb Cake card base.

Thanks for stopping by to look at my blog - I hope you like my card. I will be making more with this set so be sure to come back and see what I come up with.

Very simple cards using Friendly Hello Bundle from Stampin' Up!®

Today's projects feature the Friendly Hello stamp set and matching Friendly Hello designer series paper available free when you spend $180AU as part of the current Sale-a-bration promotion. The first card is simple stamping, using Evening Evergreen, with four stamps over the matching images on the designer series paper. Then I added the sentiment, 2021-2023 InColor jewels and ribbon - super quick and simple, but very effective.

My second card again uses the designer series paper. To this one I add the White frayed ribbon and stamped the sentiment and bird on Basic White cardstock. The bird is coloured with Petal Pink Stampin' blends and the flowers with Pool Party Stampin' blends. I attached the ribbon with Stampin' Seal+ to make sure it stayed in place.

I'm really enjoying playing with this free set and will be making some more to show you.
