Symbols of Fortune Suite Collection by Stampin' Up®

My project today uses the Crane of Fortune bundle and the Symbols of Fortune 12 x 12" specialty designer series paper from the January-June 2022 mini catalogue. I made this a narrow slimline card to fit inside one of the Slimline Envelopes.

I die-cut a number of the Calypso Coral flowers and adhered them to the front layer of basic white cardstock. I cut a piece of the Soft Succulent designer series paper to layer behind but tucked two small pieces of ribbon between these layers to give the impression of a bow.

I stamped two cranes with Gray Granite ink and die-cut them, adhered them together and added to the front of the card with dimensionals - note the vellum circle placed behind them. The sentiment die-cut comes from Meadow dies. I finished with the Polished Dots, also from the suite. This card was inspired by one I saw on the Stampin' Up! Facebook page - it's such a good place to get inspiration.

Waves of Inspiration Bundle by Stampin' Up!®

Today's project features part of the Waves of the Ocean Collection. This collection is an early-release with only the Stamp set and dies carrying over to the May 2022-April 2023 Annual Catalogue. The designer series paper, blue foils and Waves Rhinestone basic jewels are only available while stocks last

So don't delay if you like any of these products, go to my online shop as quickly as possible.

I started by inking the large wave stamp with sponge daubers and Night of Navy, Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green inks. Then I die cut a wave using the Coastal Cabana foil from the Specialty Pack which comes in the Collection, with some adhesive sheet behind it. This made adhering it to the card front super easy. I die cut the clouds and birds, and added a touch of Gray Granite ink with the sponge dauber, then Wink of Stella.

The sentiment is stamped with Night of Navy and die cut. I added a very narrow piece of the Coastal Cabana foil, threading it through the ends of the sentiment piece and then adhered it with dimensionals.

Flowering Tulips Bundle by Stampin' Up!®

Today's project is made primarily using the Flowering Tulips Bundle which includes the Flowering Tulips stamp set and the Tulips dies.

I started by die-cutting the flowers from the New Horizons 6x6 designer series paper, and the leaves from Old Olive cardstock. I added some colour to two of the leaves with my Stampin' Blends. I stamped the tulip stems onto the top layer of Basic White cardstock before running it through the Painted Texture embossing folder. Then I distressed the edges. This was layered onto Blackberry Bliss cardstock and onto a Basic White card base. I used some mini dimensionals behind some of the flower petals to give them added height and finished with a bow made from the White Crinkled seam binding ribbon.

I think I need to add some of the gorgeous Brushed Brass Butterflies from the co-ordinating Flowering Fields Suite to give it a nice bit of bling...it's on my "to do" list 😄 right now!

Heart & Home Memories and More with In the Moment by Stampin' Up!®

These projects utilise the Heart & Home Memories and More card pack which is part of the Heart & Home suite. The In the Moment stamp set just seemed to go beautifully with the blue & white stripes.

I stamped the image of the lady onto vellum with Versamark, added black embossing powder and heat set it. I coloured the image on the under-side using Stampin' Blends. Once dry the circle was adhered to the reverse (white) side of one of the Heart & Home Doilies.

I layered a piece of basic white next to a narrow piece of paper from the Heart & Home designer series paper pack. The sentiment comes from the In The Moment stamp set. Holiday Rhinestone basic jewels completed the look.

And here's another card I made using the same process just with a different stamped image.

The inspiration for this project came from Meg Loven from LovenStamps.

Customer Thank you Cards March 2022 | Kylie's Demonstrator training blog hop

March 2022 Customer Thank You cards featuring the Pansy Patch stamp by Stampin' Up!®

Hello! I'm participating in another blog hop organised by Kylie and Bruno Bertucci as part of their Demonstrator Training Program. We're a group of Demonstrators from around the world taking part in training to help us build a successful Stampin' Up!® business, and to reach some goals that we've set. So, whether you are a regular visitor or if you have hopped in from another blog, I am delighted to welcome you here to my blog!

For today's card I masked the Pansy image in order to stamp the leaves. The first layer of the leaves was stamped off Soft Succulent, then full strength for the next layer. The pansy was stamped with Highland Heather, with a Memento Tuxedo Black 'beard' and a Daffodil Delight stigma.

The white layer is matted onto Gorgeous Grape cardstock, then onto Basic White cardstock which was run through the Gingham Embossing Folder and adhered to a Highland Heather card base. The sentiment, from Flowing Flowers, was stamped with Gorgeous Grape ink. The ribbon is the Gorgeous Grape Sheer Ribbon.

If you place an order or join my team in March 2022, you will receive one of these cards. I do not write on them and they will come without a sentiment, so you can send them on, adding whatever sentiment you like.

You may be starting here or have come from another blog - either way you can find the link list at the bottom of this post so that you can see every blog post and idea today.

Sweet Conversations Bundle by Stampin' Up!®

For today's card I have used the Sweet Conversations Bundle which includes a stamp set and dies. I combined it with three very different designer series papers to make a simple but very effective look.

The card base is Basic White. I layered a Blushing Bride marble piece from Simply Marbleous, then the Vellum Layering Designs before adding the hearts which are die cut from Gold & Rose Gold metallic specialty 6x6" paper. I got my inspiration from the Stampin' Up Facebook page where a similar card was made with pale green in the background.

I stamped the sentiment and cut it into strips, added them to the white heart and then adhered that to the largest heart from the Give It A Whirl dies. I coloured a piece of the white baker's twine with my Blushing Bride ink and a sponge dauber so I could make a double bow.

Z-fold card using the New Horizons Suite by Stampin' Up!®

Today's card uses the New Horizons suite from the January-June Mini Catalogue. I used a piece of the awesome 6 x 6" designer series paper from the suite then stamped the seagulls, some grass and added a few extra elements to make this amazing scene.
The inside is shown below, featuring the seagulls from the stamp set, two fence pieces cut from the dies and some 'rope' made from the Baker's twine essentials pack. The Pebbles Enamel shapes add such a nice natural finish.

I got my inspiration for this card from Patty Bennett of Patty Stamps, and a very handy tip I learned from her was that using a woodgrain designer series paper pattern makes amazing fences. For my card I used a piece from the Heart & Home pack. And the foliage was cut from the Beauty of the Earth papers. To achieve the sand look, I used Bumblebee and Cinnamon Cider inks and a dotty stamp from the Color & Contour set.

This designer series paper contains some really beautiful papers that can be used for many scenes and the B side is equally beautiful on its own. Check it out in my online store.

If you like today's card, please check out more of my blogs and if you have a moment, leave a comment.
