Snow Globe Shaker Dome Alternative Use

I designed this card for a Valentine's day themed class that I ran early in February.

I wanted to show that the Snow Globe Shaker domes, from the 2019 Holiday Catalogue, could also be used in a non-traditional Christmas way.

These domes will be available again in the 2020 Holiday Catalogue so I am excited that I can buy more for future projects.
Using the Detailed Hearts die I cut out the 'shaker' hearts in Old Olive and Blueberry Bushel foil from the Noble Peacock Foil sheets. The larger heart shapes were cut using the Stitched Be Mine dies.

The striped background layer is part of the Come Sail Away designer series paper with the navy hearts, stamped randomly with the tiny heart, from the Heartfelt stamp set.

The card was a hit with the class, and some of the ladies changed the sentiment which was embossed with white embossing powder on the base of the globe to suit the occasion they were making it for.

The Old Olive foil circle was die-cut using two of the Layering Circles dies. I snipped across the diameter to make it fit around the globe - the cut section is hidden under the navy base.

I hope you like the idea of using the Shaker Domes in a non-traditional way. The possibilities are endless.

If you would like to purchase any of the items I used, click on the images below. Note you will not be able to purchase any shaker domes at this time - stay tuned for the 2020 Holiday Catalogue later this year.

Until next time, happy crafting,
from Bev
