Emboss resist technique with Pansy Patch Bundle by Stampin' Up!®

A week or two ago I took part in a six hour zoom event hosted by Kylie & Bruno Bertucci and Cheryll Miller. My card using the emboss resist technique and Pansy Patch bundle was designed by Cheryll Miller from Sense of Whimsy - thank you Cheryll for the tutorial.

The emboss resist technique is so effective. The pansies were stamped with Versamark, heat embossed with white and the inks were applied with sponge daubers. We used all the 2021-2023 In Color inks plus Calypso Coral, Daffodil Delight and Blackberry Bliss.

The right-hand side panel was run through the Checks & Dots embossing folder and the colour was applied with a Blending Brush. The individual pansies and leaves on the front were die-cut with the coordinating Pansy dies.

To complete the look the 1/4" Bumblebee Gingham ribbon was tied around the front to cover the join between the two panels and some 2021-2023 In Color Jewels were added.

Such a vibrant fun card to make - I just love pansies, they are such happy flowers don't you think?
