Today I made four patchwork technique cards using the Flowering Fields Suite. This technique uses four coordinating pieces of designer series paper which are cut into various shaped pieces and then put back together so that the four papers are seen on each card - a bit like a jigsaw puzzle. See the photos for clarification -
The four pieces of DSP were adhered to scrap paper and die-cut with the second largest of the Scalloped Contours dies. This was mounted with dimensionals onto the basic white layer which was run through the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder. The card base is Poppy Parade cardstock. The die-cut tulips were coloured using Stampin' blends. The sentiment was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and die-cut using the largest banner from the Bouquet of Love die set. The finishing touch was the bow tied with Linen thread.
